Nashville third quarter sales data

Lee

October 2020

In a recent article, Greater Nashville Realtors reported a 17% increase in home closings for September compared to the same period last year. Closings for the third quarter rose 12% from 13,149 closings last month compared to 12,030 closings in September 2019. This indicates that Nashville housing market is in full recovery mode. Greater Nashville REALTORS president, Kristy Hairson, says, “…The uptick in closings means that buyers are still in the market for homes despite the low inventory.” The median residential price for a single-family home also increased this year to $348,000 from $317,000 in September 2019. Hairston continued, “Lower inventory coupled with low-interest rates makes for a competitive market for buyers in some area. Choosing to use a Realtor to navigate our thriving market will set buyers and sellers up for success on their home buying and selling journey.”  Let us at Omni put our 15+ years of expertise in the Nashville housing market to work for you.
