Metro Nashville issued $2,437,788,885 worth of building permits for the 2014-2015 fiscal year, a staggering 30% icrease year over year.  If this figure doesn't paint a clear picture of what's happening in Nashville, TN real estate, I don't know what would.  See more details about the permits from the Nashville Business Journal here.
